She graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She completed her Nuclear Medicine in Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. She has a great number of nationally and internationally published works, papers, and editorial works. She is also a member of various national and international institutions and organizations. She has been working as an academician responsible for nuclear oncology, nuclear endocrinology, nuclear nephrology and nuclear cardiology at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine since 2004 and still holds her position as the president of the Nuclear Medicine Department.
